A 62-year-old man died after being hit by an unknown scooty rider at Alamgunj area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Wednesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Gull Mohammad Rather (62) son of Abdul Raheem Rather, a resident of Alamgunj.
Reports said that the man was hit by an unknown scooty-rider at Alamgunj Shopian. He was shifted to SMHS where he declared brought dead.
“A case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up,” police officer said.
