7 Militants Killed in the Ongoing Shopian Enconter, Zeenat ul Islam Likely Killed

Seven Militants have been killed in the ongoing Shopian Encounters which may include Zeenat ul Islam.

Two encounters are currently underway in Jammu Kashmir’s Dragad and Kachdora villages of Shopian district.

So far, one Militant has been killed while another arrested. Five Army personnel is injured in Shopian’s Kachdoora, another injured in Dragad.

The encounters started began late on Saturday night. Police and Army’s 44 Rashtriya Rifles (RR), 3 RR, 34 RR, and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) are part of the operation at both the places.

The DGP of Jammu Kashmir Police has confirmed that 7 Militants Bodies have been recovered from the encounter site which includes top commanders as well.
