Mother of ex-MLA of National Conference for Shangus, Abdul Majeed Mir’s 80-year-old mother, Zainab Begum passed away on Sunday night.
She was suffering from ill health for a brief period after which she passed away on the night of November 1.
Many socio-political groups and personalities expressed grief on the demise and expressed condolences to the bereaved family.
She was laid to rest after her last rites were performed at her native in Mir Mohalla area of Achabal in Anantnag district of South Kashmir.
The Fateh Khwani of the deceased shall be held at their residence in Mir Mohalla, Achabal on Friday, November 6.
