Two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants have been reportedly killed in an encounter with Government forces in Chader, Matalham area of South kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that one of the Militants is believed to be a top commander of Lashkar e Taiba.
The encounter began on Sunday afternoon when Militants opened fire on a party of 1RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and CRPF, who were carrying out operations in the area.
The Gunfire is still on and massive clashes that erupted near the encounter site have intensified as people are trying to make their way to the encounter site from the nearby areas.
The identity of the Militants has not been confirmed as of yet, Further details are emerging.
