
Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Charandeep Singh today suspended nine employees of health department for their unauthorized absence from duty.
On receiving public complaint along with video circulated on social media, the DC took serious note of unauthorized absence of the employees including doctors from their duty in Public Health Centre Gota and placed them under suspension besides attaching them in the office of BMO Mahore.
An enquiry has also been initiated to ascertain the facts and reason of their unauthorized absence which affected essential services delivery in health center.
The suspended officials include Dr. Rajiv Salaria Medical Officer, Dr. Vikas Bharti Medical Officer, Onkar Singh Sr. Ophthalmic Tech. Parveen Kumar ISM Pharmacist, Rajinder Kour JSN, Lajo Devi JSN, Chamil Singh NO, Raj Kour NO and Harvinder Singh.
The action was taken in terms of Rule 31 of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.(GNS)
