Traffic Police Saturday said that the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway (NHW) remains closed due to ongoing restoration work, and commuters have been advised to avoid travel until the road is fully restored.
Authorities have also confirmed that several other key roads, including the Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri (SSG) Road, Bhaderwah-Chamba Road, Mughal Road, and Sinthan Road, are still closed due to adverse conditions.
Travelers have been urged to check real-time updates regarding road status on the official Twitter handle, Facebook page of the traffic police, or by contacting Traffic Control Units (TCUs) before planning their journeys.
Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and will issue further advisories as restoration efforts progress. [KNT]
