Walnut trees ‘illegally’ cut in Kulgam

In a concerning incident, unidentified individuals ‘illegally’ cut down walnut trees in the Ashthal Pranhall area of Kulgam. Acting swiftly on credible information, Tehsildar Pahloo, Showkat Ahmad, along with his team, reached the site and seized the walnut wood on the spot.

Tehsildar Pahloo stated, “We received reports about the illegal felling of walnut trees in this area. Acting immediately, we reached the location and seized the wood. A thorough investigation has been initiated, and strict legal action will be taken against those found responsible.”

The authorities have assured that no leniency will be shown towards individuals involved in such unlawful activities. Cutting down walnut trees without proper authorization is a serious offense, and those involved will face strict legal consequences.
