Hurriyat member’s house raided in Shopian area

Jammu Kashmir Police on Monday carried out a search operation at the residence of a former Hurriyat member in south Kashmir’s Shopian district.

An official, quoted by local news agency Kashmir News Observer, said the search was conducted in connection with FIR No. 9/2024, registered under sections 10 and 13 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).

The residence belongs to Mohammad Amin Parray, son of Ghulam Nabi Parray, a former member of Hurriyat confrence, located in the Kundalan area of Shopian.
