Cordon and search operation launched in Gudder Kulgam

Security forces launched a cordon and search operation in the Gudder area of Kulgam district today after receiving credible inputs about the presence of militants hiding in the locality.

All entry and exit points to the area have been sealed to prevent any movement, and a thorough search operation is underway.

The operation is being carried out jointly by the 9 RR Army, 18BN CRPF, and Jammu Kashmir Police.

Officials said the search is being conducted with utmost caution, and additional forces have been deployed to ensure the safety of civilians and maintain law and order in the area.
