The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi on Sunday visited the Kashmir valley and took a boat ride on the picturesque Dal Lake. In this video, the Indian Prime Minister was seen waving to, probably the cameras.
Most of the people on Sunday remained confined to their households as the famous Boulevard road remained out of bounds for people due to the strict restrictions imposed in the area.
Mobile internet had been suspended across the valley amid strict restrictions in most of the towns.
The video left people wondering who the PM was waving at. “For the those who are asking , the is for BJPs countless imaginary ‘friends’ in Kashmir,” former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti tweeted.
The former chief Minister of Jammu Kashmir, Omar Abdullah also took a dig at the particular incident tweeted, “This camera person has done the Hon PM a huge disservice by not showing all the people furiously waving back because there is no way the PM would be waving at an empty lake,” offered Omar Abdullah.”
Meanwhile Narendra Modi was trolled on Facebook and whatsapp with funny memes. One such meme from his visit to Ladakh read, “The Monk who looted India.”
