Two employees of Municipal Council Islamabad (Anantnag) in South Kashmir have been suspended by authorities after they joined Congress during a function in this South Kashmir district the last month.
Employees named Nisar Ahmed Sofal and Mohammed Ashraf have been placed under suspension via an order dated 06 February 2019.
The employees had joined Pradesh Congress Committee on 13 January, after which the issue was brought into spotlight by the editor of The Kashmiriyat, Salman Shah.
