Thousands of people on Monday are visiting the houses of slain Militants in Kulgam and Islamabad (anantnag) district to express solidarity with the families.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that people in large numbers are marching towards the house of slain Scholar Waseem Ahmed Rather in Quimoh Kulgam.
Waseem was a teacher and a Ph.D scholar before he joined Militancy in May 2018.
He also provided free tuition to students in his locality, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
Meanwhile people are also visiting the families of Zahid Parray in Gopal Pora area of Damhal Hanjipora, in Kulgam, Idrees Bhat in Arwani of Islamabad (anantnag), Aaqib Nazir in Zangal Pora Kulgam
People in large number are also visiting the house of Parvez Bhat (Hubaib) in Mukdampora, Quimoh, Kulgam.
The five were killed in an encounter with Government Forces on Sunday at Kelam area in Kulgam.
