The gunfight in Tral that raged on Monday morning between Militants and Government Forces ended with the killing of two Local Militants.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that 42 RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and 180 BN of CRPF laid siege around a cluster of houses in Reshi Mohalla of Tral after receiving a tip off about Militant movement in the area.
The siege soon turned into an encounter when Militants opened fire upon the forces resulting into the death of two Militants.
Also, a house in which Militants were holed up was completely damaged in the gunfire.
On Wednesday , the Tral area is observing a complete shutdown for the second consecutive day to mourn the killings of Militants.
