Police Organizes Grand Musical Evening in South Kashmir

Music, Dance and joy gripped the Police Lines in District Islamabad (anantnag) of South Kashmir, as Policemen, to relax a hectic duty schedule organized a musical event on Thursday Evening.

Witnessing a healthy participation of performers, the event organized by the Local Jammu Kashmir Police at District Police Lines here in the Southern Kashmir district was chaired by the Senior Superintendent of Police for Islamabad (Anantnag) district, Altaf Ahmed Khan.

Also, common people in good numbers also witnessed children sing and groove to music amid the conflict that has taken centre stage in South Kashmir since July 2016 post the killing of Burhan Wani on July 2016.

The event was also attended by officials from the Indian Army, Central Reserve Police Force and the higher officials of Jammu Kashmir Police.

Students from various schools also showcased their dancing skills and singing abilities. “we want our youth to accelerate in any career they take up, we will give them all possible platforms to show and improve their talent,” A Police official told The Kashmiriyat.
