Loud blast-like sound creates panic across south Kashmir

Loud blast like sound created panic in several areas of south Kashmir on Monday afternoon.

Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday around 1:10 P.M., a massive sound was heard in south Kashmir creating panic among locals.

They said that the sound was heard in districts of Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Anantnag district.

The cause of the blast is not known yet, however, official sources told The Kashmiriyat that it was likely a sonic boom.
