In a separate operation, police also arrested Mohammad Hussain Milk, son of Ahmad Ullah Milk, a resident of Nail in Ramban district, who had been evading arrest for the past 42 years.

“He was wanted in connection with case FIR No. 149/1981 under sections 279, 337, and 338 of the RPC registered at Police Station Anantnag,” police said.

A warrant under Section 512 CrPC had been issued by the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Anantnag. “The said absconder was apprehended from the Nail Ramban area and shall be produced before the Hon’ble Court of law tomorrow,” the official informed.
