In fact the Army General of India has been constantly asking the local Kashmiri youth to give up arms and asking people to keep their wards away from militancy.
Though Militancy is growing swiftly as more local youth are picking up arms to strengthen the Militant ranks, Figures available to The Kashmiriyat suggest that at least 37 youth have picked up arms in the first three months of this year.
One more youth from South Kashmir has picked arms and posed with an AK 47 rifle to tell his family that he has joined Militant ranks.
The youth has been identified as Shahid Sadiq Son of Mohammed Sadiq Malik a resident of Khulll area in Noorabad of South Kashmir’s Kulgam District.
Locals from Shopian told The Kashmiriyat that Shahid had left home for a small wok few weeks back after which he disappeared, today his photo carrying a gun appeared on the Social media.
