A 22-year-old lady allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself inside her home at Trahpoo village of Achabal in Islamabad (Anantnag) district of south Kashmir on friday Evening.
An official upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that she was shifted to nearby Hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
After the completion of medical and legal formalities, the body will be handed over to family members for last rites, he added.
A police officer also confirmed the incident and said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been taken up. (The Kashmiriyat)
