Three Militants have been killed in the exchange of gunfire between militants and Government forces at Kangan area Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that a team of 55 RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police was fired upon by Militants in the Kangan area, during a cordon and Search operation, after which the Army retaliated to the firing.
They said that three Militants including a top Jaish e Muhammad Commander has been killed in the brief exchange of gunfire.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the firing started around 9 30 AM.
