Six Members of a Family Drown in a River After Tragic Road Accident in Chenab Valley

Roads in Chenab Valley have become death trap to the passengers, Accidents in Chenab Valley in no more surprise people.

On Thursday morning, one such tragic accident took place in Garh Massu area of District Kishtwar in which six family members  boarding on SUV drowned in Budh Nalla.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that an Alto vehicle boarded by a family of six on way from Garh towards Massu te Paddar skidded-off the road and rolled down into Budh nallah.

In this tragic incident, the driver Mulk Raj, son of Ram Nath, a head-constable in Armed Police under belt number ARP 872650 hailing from Garh Padder alongside five other family members are believed to have drowned.

Confirming the incident SDPO Kishtawar Pardeep Sen told The Kashmiriyat that a rescue team alongside a crane has been sent to the spot.

“The rescue operation has been initiated and the further details will be shared later on”, Sen said.
