Two Militant have been killed in an ongoing encounter that erupted between militants and government forces in Chewa Ullar area of Tral in South kashmir’s Pulwama district on Thursday evening
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one of the Militants was killed yesterday evening, after which the operation was halted, due to the darkness.
He said that two militants have been killed so far in the heated exchange of fire that erupted on Thursday evening.
He added that the operation is still on.
Earlier another official had said that that a joint team Government Forces including Jammu Kashmir Police, Army’s 42 RR and CRPF’s 180 Battalion had launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.

The ongoing encounter in Tral pertinently is the 12th encounter in that has raged in South kashmir in month of June, 32 militants have been Killed during these encounters.
