Unknown persons on Wednesday morning kidnapped the Vice President of municipal committee in Watergam area of Sopore in north Kashmir Baramulla district
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Mehraj u Din Malla was kidnapped by unknown persons in Watergam area of Sopore
A police official confirming the incident to The Kashmiriyat said that a manhunt has been launched to trace Mehraj u Din Malla.
Meanwhile, sources said that Mehraj u Din Malla is an affiliate of BJP.
Last week suspected militants shot dead a BJP worker Sheikh Waseem Bari along with his father and brother at his residence in Bandipora district.
