Post abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A, for the first time representatives of pro-establishment groups from Jammu Kashmir spoke to The Kashmiriyat in the first episode of straightforward.
Peerzada Touqeer, a former Judge of the sessions court and a leader of the Jammu Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) said that Central government has brutal majority and they are taking undue advantage of that.

“All parties should keep their political differences aside and fight with the Delhi’s highhandedness,” the NC Leader said.
“National Conference is waiting for their leaders who have been lodged in different jails. Once they will be free, we will fight with collectively to get Art 370 back,” he said.
Ghulam Nabi Malik, leader of communist part of India (Marxist) said that their party had always clear stand with regard to Art 370, he said that the Jammu Kashmir had separate constitution since from the beginning.
“Abrogation of Art 370 was the rape of Indian constitution,” he blamed.
Adding that on the one side, Kashmiris are dying due to covid 19, and on the other Delhi has brought issue of domicile and delimitation commission.
He lashed out on Central government’s newly domicile law and demanded for the statehood as early as possible.
The Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader Sofi yousuf said that Government is making all efforts to develop Jammu Kashmir, our Prime minister had started this initiative since the beginning that all the regional parties National conference, Congress, Peoples Democratic party, had slapped 30 thousand youths of J&K under PSA’s during their successive regimes.
“When they were slapped by the Central government under the same, they came out on streets,” he blamed.
On the suspension of 4G Internet he said that once the security agencies provide us green signal about its restoration, they will restore it without any delay.
Upon being questioned about Press Freedom Sofi Yousuf said that he has high regards for the press. “It was after my intervention that Masrat Zehra was released.”
