The brother of slain Hizb Militant Saddam padder from Heff Shopian has been arrested by Government Forces during a nocturnal raid in Heff area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the Government Forces raided the houses of three slain Militants and assaulted them before taking them into custody.
“Shakir Padder (brother of Saddam Padder, Suhail Wani ( Brother of Nasir Wani) and Sayar Ahmed (brother of irfan Sheikh) of Maldera Shopian were taken into custody after their houses were raided during nocturnal raids,” Locals said.
Police Sources told The Kashmiriyat that they have been arrested in connection with the murder of the Tariq Ahmed Mehand, the cousin of slain Militant Bilal Mehand, whose body was found bullet riddled in Arwani area of South Kashmir on 09 July.
Police officials however said that the youth have been detained for mere questioning and nothing else.
Earlier during nocturnal raids, the brothers of two slain Militants were arrested in kakpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District.
