No Congregational Prayers In Ganderbal This Year

SSP Ganderbal Khalil Ahmad Poswal today urged People of Ganderbal to avoid Eid al-Adha congregational prayer in Eidgahs and mosques and appealed them to pray at home in view of rising COVID-19 positive cases in Ganderbal.

“Eid al-Adha is a special festival for us and I wish everyone a happy and prosperous Eid. While celebrating the fest we have to take some necessary precautions amid the pandemic Mass gathering like Eid congregational prayers are not allowed in Eidgahs and mosques. The precaution is necessary to keep us safe from deadly COVID-19 infection” SSP said.

“Section 144 is already in place along with Nallah Sindh in Ganderbal. People who will try to hold Eid congregational prayers in Eidgahs and mosques will be strictly dealt with according to the law,” he said.

SSP added that people should avoid visiting parks and Sindh sight scenes. They want to ensure everyone’s safety and any misadventure in this regard will not be tolerated.
