On the directions of Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Baseer Ahmed Khan the Jammu Kashmir Police has lodged an FIR against the Tehsildar of Dooru.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the Tehsildar was placed under suspension the last month after he was found accused in allowance of Illegal Constructions on Srinagar- Banihal Expressway.
The Tehsildar after being found guilty was immediately placed under suspension the last month along with three other employees of the revenue Department.
Tehsildar Dooru Muzaffar Ahmad Malik, Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, Girdawar circle Verinag and Mushtaq Ahmad Khan, Girdawar circle Dooru holding the charge of Patwar Halqa had allowed the illegal practice.
Sources said that the Tehsildar despite the orders of the Div Com Kashmir the Tehsildar illegally resumed charge also barged into the office after breaking the lock.
The Police immediately swung into action and registered a case against Muzaffar Ahmed Malik (Tehsildar Dooru).
The Kashmiriyat has been informed that the charges against the said Tehsildar include harassment of general public, employees and delaying the works of common masses unnecessarily.
