Hezbollah Demands Right to Self Determination for Kashmir

The Hezbollah, a political and paramilitary party based in Lebanon, demands the right to self-determination for Kashmiris and also announced its support for Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.

In a video deputy secretary-general of Hezbollah, Naeem Qaseem said, “We are in favor of Kashmiris right to self-determination. We stand with Pakistan nation on the Kashmir issue.”

He also added that yes, they support Kashmir and Kashmiris who are fighting for their right to self-determination, because it is only this that will achieve a legal and political solution that all International law and all nobles have decided.

Qassem extended his gratitude and support to Pakistan who had always shown their support and unity towards Palestine.

While talking about Pakistan he said, “I want to tell you that we have seen Pakistan closely, and seen them supporting the Palestinian cause in total. It is this that has convinced us in letter and spirit.”

“InshaAllah, there shall be no division on the issue of Kashmir and Palestine, and we stand united,” he added.

On the 32nd death anniversary of Arif Al Hussaini, Qaseem gave these statements.

Arif Hussain Al Hussaini was shot dead in Peshawar on August 5, 1988. The former President General Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq and special representatives of the Iranian government participated in his funeral rites. The Iranian government had supported the construction of a Mazaar over his grave in Peshawar.
