Prime Minister in his Independence Day Speech said, Polls will be conducted soon in JK

Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his Independent Day speech today said the ‘delimitation process’ is underway in Jammu Kashmir and polls will be conducted soon.

“This one year is a time of the new excursion of advancement for Jammu  Kashmir. It is the time of the rights got by the ladies and the Dalits in Jammu Kashmir and is additionally the time of the existence of nobility for the displaced people in Jammu Kashmir,” said the PM.

He further said that after the delimiting process is finished, and elections conducted, Jammu Kashmir will have its own chief minister.

Alluding to the Galwan Valley conflict, he said, “Our soldiers gave a befitting answer to the enemies”.

“From LoC (Line of Control) to LAC (Line of Actual Control), whenever India has been
challenged, our soldiers have given a fitting response in a language they comprehend,” said the PM, referring to both Pakistan and China.

“The world has seen in Ladakh, what our Jawans can do, what the nation can do. Today, I salute each one of those daring soldiers from the Red Fort.”

Talking about terrorism, The PM  said, “Whether it is terrorism or expansionism, India is fighting both”.

PM’s focus in his one-hour and 26-minutes of speech was on the themes of “Aatma Nirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India)”, “Vocal for local” and “Make in India to Make for World”.

He additionally paid accolade for those on the forefronts of the battle against the coronavirus and pronounced that India has a guide prepared for the creation and dissemination of three COVID-19 vaccines that are at different phases of testing.

A National Digital Health Mission would be announced soon, the PM Modi declared, adding in which each citizen will get a health-ID.

“Today in India, not one, or two, however, three vaccines are in the phase of testing. When there is a green sign from researchers”, the PM said, “the nation is set up to produce it in huge numbers. How the vaccine will arrive at each and every Indian at all measure of time – we have a guide prepared for that”.

“Each Indian will get a Health ID card. Every time you visit a doctor or a drug store, everything will be logged in this well-being card in your profile on a national scale. From the regular check-up to the prescription exhorted, everything will be accessible in your health profile”, Prime Minister said on the National Digital Heath Mission.
