Kanganhall-Achabal road in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district is in shambles from the past years.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that residents of Kanganhall and the adjoining villages are suffering due to the potholed road.
The local said that they approached the concerned authorities several times with a plea to macadamize the road, but all in vain as nothing has been done in this regard, thus leaving the locals here to lurch on the roads.
“We want to bring it to the notice of concerned officials of R&B department to improve the condition of the road at the earliest so that we don’t have to suffer anymore,” they said.
Meanwhile, AEE R&B Syed Ishfaq said that the macadamization work was not carried out due to lack of funds. However, he stated the road will be macadamized soon.
