Fire broke out in Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla on Monday afternoon leaving one of the block of hospital completely damaged.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that panic gripped the entire GMC in Baramulla when fire broke out in a block of the hospital on Monday afternoon, however nobody was injured during the incident.
As soon as the alarm was raised, the vehicles of the Fire department reached the spot and the fire was brought under control.

“It was only due to the timely intervention of the Fire department that the fire was stopped from spreading further,” an official said.
He said that the cause of fire was not immediately known, adding, “All the patients and their attendants are safe.”
