The Jammu Kashmir Police in Awantipora claimed to have arrested two Militant associates from the Awantipora and Khrew area of Pulwama district in South Kashmir.
An Official told The Kashmiriyat that incriminating material of proscribed outfit Hizb-Ul -Mujahdeen and Al-Badr has been recovered from the arrested Militant associates.
A case under the F.I.R number 127/2020 of Police Station Awantipora and 56/2020 of Police Station Khrew under relevant sections of law has been registered against the accused, he said.
In another incident, the Jammu Kashmir Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in a joint operation of security forces in Gurjan Bala of Rajouri district in Jammu region.
An official speaking to The Kashmiriyat identified the arrested militants as Rahil Bashir alias “Ayan bhai” Of Pulwama Amir Jan alias hamza of kakapora pulwama Hafiz younus wani alias zubair of shopian.
Two Ak 56 rifles, Two pistols, four Garnades & one lakh Indian currency, have been recovered from them, the official said.
