Two Militants have been killed during an encounter broke out between militants and Government forces in Czingam, Kala Drang area of Yaripora belt in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Friday night..
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a joint team of Police, Indian Army’s 1 RR, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police launched a cordon and search operation on tip off about the movement of militants in the area.
He said that as the joint teams of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired, which was retaliated, triggering an encounter.
As per the officials, during the exchange of gunfire, two Militants have been killed, who are yet to be identified.
Meanwhile Searches are still going on at the site of the encounter.
