Kashmiri Pandits who were on a hunger strike to protest the alleged against lack of proper accomodation in Colony have called off their hunger strike.
Kashmiri Pandits on Saturday called off their hunger strike after getting assurances from the DC Kulagam that the issues will be raised by him and resolved on priority basis.
Sanjay Raina speaking to the media said, “we called off Hunger Strike after DC Kulgam came himself and assured that all genuine demands will be fulfilled with full honour and dignity.”
The DC Kulgam listened all the demands with full empathy and even called the Secretary onspot and intimated him about our hunger strike for the last 8 days .
“We are extremely happy for the support Vessu inmates reflected during the whole process,” Raina said.
Sanjay Raina thanked The Kashmiriyat media for support in highlighting their issues throughout.
“Kashmiri Pandit community appreciates such media Organisations who take to the front by highlighting genuine issues of common People,” Raina said.
