4-year-old Boy Dies After Getting Stuck in Traffic Jam in Anantnag

A four year old boy namely Anzar Ahmad Son of Jan Mohammad Bhat Resident of Nowpora Dooru in Anantnag reportedly lost his life after being stuck in traffic jam for a long time.

Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that the four year old boy had swallowed a bean seed which got stuck at his throat.

The parents rushed him towards Dooru Modern hospital immediately but ahead of long traffic jam on Anantnag Verinag road they were not able to reach the hospital and lost their son.

Chairman Shahabad Development forum Zahoor Malik have condolence the huge loss and have targeted the Administration and Traffic police for this loss.

Malik said that he has repeatedly requested the Administration to stop the process of diversion of traffic from this road, But the Administration have failed to stop the same.

He said, “We cannot give back Anzar to his parents , but the Administration should come forward with a compensation for the family.”

He also said that if the process of diversion were not stopped, SDF will come on streets and after that what will be the situation, Administration will be responsible for that.
