Two Militants have been killed during a gunfight broke out between militants and government forces in Machowa area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday evening.
An official told The Kashmiriyat that a joint team of Army’s 50 RR and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation on specific information about the presence of militants in the area.
The official said that, as the joint team of forces progressed towards the suspected identified spot, the hiding militants fired upon them which was retaliated triggering an encounter.
During the gunfight, two Militants have been killed, who are yet to be identified.
