The Gulf state of Saudi Arabia has aggressively shown the state of Jammu Kashmir a separate territory from India.
India has strongly objected to Saudi Arabia’s objection. Saudi Arabia has issued a 20 riyal currency note. It shows Jammu Kashmir as a separate state from India.
The next G20 summit will be held in Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia has issued a note in this regard.
The currency note bears the logo of the G20 summit in Saudi Arabia and a map of the G20 countries. In this map, Jammu Kashmir, including Pakistan administrated Kashmir is also shown separately from India.
In particular, it has been shown that Kashmir is not part of Pakistan.
India objected to the map of Saudi Arabia, while Amjad Ayub Mirza, an activist in Pakistani side of Kashmir, expressed happiness. He praised Saudi Arabia for separating Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan from Pakistan.
After India looked at the map, there was something wrong with it. The issue has since been raised by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in New Delhi and the Indian Embassy in Riyadh. Sources said that Saudi Arabia has not yet responded to India’s objection.
India is part of the G20.
However, Pakistan is not in this group. The G20 summit will be held on November 21-22. Indo-Saudi relations have improved in the last few years.
During the turmoil in Pakistan , Prime Minister Imran Khan, embroiled in a political crisis in Pakistan, has offered peace to India.
However, in the peace proposal, Imran Khan has angered Kashmir. Pakistan is ready to hold peace talks with India.
Imran Khan has demanded that Kashmiri citizens be given the right to self-determination as per the UN Security Council resolution. He also said that peace was needed in the Indian subcontinent.
