BJP Leader Shot Dead in Kulgam, Two Workers Critically Injured

A Leader of Bhartiya Janta Party was shot dead by suspected MIlitants in Yor Khashipora (YK Pora) In Kulgam District of South Kashmir.

Identified as Fida Hussain, the General Secretary of Yova Morcha of Bhartiya Janta Party for district Kulgam, he was shot at by suspected after which he was rushed to the nearby hospital.

The doctors declared him brought dead upon his arrival to the hospital.

Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown gunmen fired upon three persons in YK pora in Kulgam, injuring them critically.

While as Fida Hussain succumbed to his injuries, two more have been who have injured are being treated at the emergency hospital in Kulgam, Sources said, adding “their condition is critical.”

One of the injured has been identified as Umar Hajam.

The BJP Spokesman speaking to The Kashmiriyat has confirmed the attack and called the attacks as inhumane and condemnable.
