‘Militant Associate’ Arrested in Kupwara, Says Police

The Jammu Kashmir Police on Monday claimed to have arrested a militant associate in the Dragmulla area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the police arrested a militant associate of Jaish e Muhammad at a Naka along with one Chinese grenade and cash of 3.5 Lakh INR.”

The arrested was identified as Sahil Dar son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, who is a resident of Babgund Handwara.

A case has been lodged under FIR no. 333/2020 US 3/4 Explosive sub act, 13,38, 40 UA(P)A in Police Station Kupwara.
