Army Man Commits Suicide in Shopian

An army soldier shot himself with his service rifle in the Shopian district of South Kashmir.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that an Army official said that Chandra Patil, a head constable posted at Zavoora Manloo area of Shopian shot himself with his service rifle on Thursday morning.

The official said that an FIR has been registered into the incident.

He said that an investigation has been launched to probe the cause of the death.
