3 Injured as JCB Collides with Maruti Car in Kokernag

At least three persons sustained injuries after collision between a JCB and Maruti Car in Buchoo Kokernag area of south-Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Saturday afternoon.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that a Maruti-800 car bearing Registration number JK-01J 8333 had collision with a JCB resulting in injuries to three on-board persons.

The injured persons have been identified as Ghulam Hassan Shiekh son of Ghulam Rasool Shiekh, Qaisar Ahmad Shiekh son of Nissar Ahmad Shiekh and Aijaz Ahmad Deka son of Mohammed Ramzan Deka all residents of Deesu Kokernag.

The trio was in the meantime removed to sub-district Hospital Kokernag wherefrom they were referred to GMC Anantnag for advanced treatment.

Meanwhile, the official said that the Jammu Kashmir police has taken cognizance of the case and further investigations set in motion.
