The Government Forces including the 28 RR of India Army, Jammu Kashmir Police and 162 Battalion of CRPF besides SOG busted a militant hideout in the forest area of Warnow i Lolab area of the North Kashmir’s District of Kupwara district,
An official said that on Saturday morning, the joint Forces had launched a cordon-and-search-operation after receiving inputs about suspicious movement in the Nawabehak Kawari forest area.
The searches were conducted for several houses, during which the forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition.
As per the official, “The recovered arms and ammunition include Four AK-47 Magazines, 15 rounds of AK-47 ammunition, 2 hand grenades, Binoculars, Compass along with other things.”
