At least three dozen students were tested positive for covid 19 in the Kulgam district of South Kashmir on Wednesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that at least 30 students from the Noorani Public School in Khul Damhal area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district tested positive for Covid 19 infection.
The school has a total roll of 54 students out of which 37 tested positive. All the students are aged between 10-14.
Earlier on Wednesday, a teacher of Government School in the Budgam district after the school was shut down for a period of five days.
The Block Medical Officer (BMO) DH Pora upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said, “37 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected from the school.”
