A Protester has been critically wounder by Government Forces when they opened fire upon Protesting civilians during a Cordon and Search operation in Tukroo area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a protester identified as Fayaz Ahmed of Poterwal locality in Keegam area of Shopian District was shot at when forces opened fire on protesters who were protesting against an Anti Militancy operation in their area.
The injured has been shifted to the District hospital in Pulwama where Hospital sources said that he has been hit with a bullet in his abdominal area.
Earlier Government Forces including RR of Indian Army and launched a joint Anti Militancy operation in the area following specific input about Militant presence in the area.
The Youth in large numbers hit the streets throwing stones on the Government Forces in the area after which they opened fire on the protesters.
