The right-wing RSS has been accused of gross carrying out communal hatred targetted at Muslims across India and running mob lynching campaigns against Muslims and other minorities.
The 2002 Gujarat Pogrom left thousands of Muslims dead. Human Rights Watch in its report had said that the RSS-BJP were the groups most directly responsible for the violence.
