Intense clashes erupted in Bemina Degree College in Srinagar on Thursday over the recent Shopian killings.
The Protesters gathered in the college ground raising pro Independence slogans and tried to march outside, an eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat.
However the troops deployed in the area did not allow the students to march ahead.
This led to massive clashes in the area, the eyewitness said.
Meanwhile protests have also erupted in SP College in Srinagar to denounce the Shopian Killings.
Students of Islamia College in Srinagar have also hit the roads denouncing the Shopian Killings.
In north Kashmir’s Sumbal area, the College students raised slogans and held protests against the killings.
Protests also erupted in Kashmir University and Central University of Kashmir.
The protests were going on when this report was filed.
