House Damaged During Fire Incident in Anantnag Area

A single-storey residential house was gutted in a fire incident at the Palpora area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that a massive fire broke out around 2 am during the night in the residential house of Mohammad Assadullah Bhat son of Ghulam Rasool Bhat at Palpora Dailgam area of Anantnag.

Later on, locals rushed towards to the spot and with the help of fire tenders tried to douse the flames but could not save the house.

In this mishap, the one-storey house was completely damaged, however, nobody was injured in the incident, the official said.

The cause of the fire was not known immediately known.
