A Vital bridge that collapsed in the Kulgam district of South Kashmir is yet to be repairing and fixed; Locals told The Kashmiriyat.
On July 02, The middle portion of the bridge in between Chawalgam and Chanser in Kulgam collapsed as a truck was crossing it, and the vehicle was stuck in the broken portion of the bridge.
This bridge connects various areas with district headquarters in the South Kashmir district of Kulgam.
Speaking to The Kashmiriyat, the locals appealed the higher authorities to repair this bridge as soon as possible.
The Kashmiriyat spoke to the ADC of Kulgam, who said that the process for the repair of the bridge required a lot of paperwork which has been concluded. “The repairment process will be initiated soon, and within a few days, the admin will complete the repairment process,” he said.
