Afghan Taliban have seized the Indian consulate in Kandahar, a viral video shows armed Taliban moving to different parts of the consulate.
In the wake of an intense gunfight between the Afghan forces and Taliban fighters, the Indian government has evacuated about 50 diplomats and security personnel from its consulate in Kandahar back to Delhi in a military aircraft.

The advance of the Taliban in Afghanistan has increased India’s anxiety and the withdrawal of Indian diplomats from Afghanistan is continuing at a massive scale, which has also been confirmed by the Indian Foreign Ministry.
India is in talks with the Taliban on the one hand and arming the Afghan army on the other, which has been questioned by analysts.
Pictures of Indian Air Force C-17 cargo planes also surfaced at Kabul and Kandahar airports.
