A House in Uri gutted into ashes on the night of Eid

A residential house gutted in a fire incident in Sultandhaki village of Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Wednesday night.

Officials said that fire broke out in the residential house of Aftab Ahmad Mir of Sultandhaki village of Tehsil Uri, in Uri sub division of Baramulla district on Wednesday evening. Although the fire and emergency service department was informed but the fire was controlled before the arrival of fire tenders. Eventually, one house got damaged due to fire.

They added that vehicle of fire fighters reached the spot and doused the flames. However, the house was gutted completely.

Officials further told the The Kashmiriyat that the incident report has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been initiated.
