Donation box of Masjid and Grocery Shop Looted by Unknown Burglars in Ganderbal

Unknown burglars looted a Grocery Shop and a donation box of Masjid Shareef In Tawheed Pora and Khanan areas of Sub Division Kangan in Ganderbal.

An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Wednesday Evening burglars broke the donation box of Masjid Shareef at Tawheedpora Kangan and looted cash from the box.

Another similar incident that took place in Khanan Kangan unknown burglars looted a Grocery Shop during the intervening on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Shop belongs to Ishfaq Ahmad Khan Son of Mohammed Ramzan Khan a resident of Khanan Kangan.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of both incidents and started an investigation in this regard.

The locals said that several incidents of thefts have happened in the last many months, due to which a fear psychosis has gripped among the people.

Locals speaking to The Kashmiriyat further said that a few months ago the thieves looted at least nine shops in the main market Kangan.

They added unknown thieves also steal two Alto 800 vehicles from Kullan and Gagangeer areas many months before.

Locals have appealed to the police to nab the miscreants and restore the sense of security among the residents.

Meanwhile, locals have appealed to the higher-ups of the police department to act tough against such miscreants who will be found responsible for these burglaries.
